Soap Star's Real Life Heartbreaks

Cynthia Preston: "I certainly have had plenty of heartbreaking experiences in my past. I had a relationship once where my heart was just devastatingly broken. But the thing is, I think I broke my own heart by buying into a fantasy. That was all part of growing up and learning about love and loss. I bought into a relationship - hook, line and sinker - that I fantasized and imagined existed when it really didn't. I didn't have my eyes open to what it really entailed. What I did was create my own version of who this person was and what our relationship was all about, instead of what was true. I learned so much from having my heart broken. It's hard to go through, but you learn from it. And eventually get past it, and someone comes along who makes you forget it. Now, I'm am happy...and happy in love with my husband, Kyle. And I just want to say that I am so lucky because I met a man who is greater than anything I had ever imagined."
